The journey begins with eLearning Part 1 – an engaging online component that you can access at https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls (please note that this involves a separate cost). In this self-directed learning experience, you’ll acquire the most up-to-date, life-saving skills that are essential for mastering BLS.

Once you’ve completed the online portion, the next step is to register for our Instructor-led Hands-on Skills Session. This session is all about practical application, where you’ll focus on meaningful skills practice and engage in team scenarios based on the knowledge you’ve already gained during the online phase.

It’s important to remember to bring your completed online certificate to the Hands-on Skills Evaluation as proof of your eLearning accomplishments.

Upon successful completion of the Hands-on Skills Evaluation, you’ll be awarded a 2-year certification, signifying your readiness to respond effectively in critical situations.
